Laura Gail & Dylan- Wedding

At the beginning of January, I got myself a free weekend trip to Savannah to photograph the wedding of two of my dear friends, Laura Gail and Dylan.

I had an absolute blast with the wedding party and their families. Thanks so much to everyone who made me feel so welcome! I loved the southern hospitality. :)

katherine- senior photos

last weekend, i shot katherine's senior photos at the capitol and the 360 lookout. she called me right before the shoot and asked if it would be weird if she wore this dramatic ball gown at the capitol.. which OF COURSE i said would definitely not be weird but AMAZING. so we had quite a bit of fun with that. :)

















this one MIGHT be my favorite from the 360 lookout.. i took it while i was just adjusting my settings and of course she looked beautiful.

janise & chris- engagement

this is definitely my favorite shoot to date.

janise is an old friend from the church i grew up in and her fiance, chris, comes from portland (where they currently live).

their original photographer had to cancel on them so while they were visiting janise's family for the holidays, they came through austin so i could shoot them.

they were AMAZING to work with. it was like i wasn't even there, they were so natural and PRECIOUS. i'm basically obsessed with all their shots. :)

p.s. these aren't edited (minus one) but i just had to put them up immediately.





















































mad mad props to matt meyer who came along for the shoot while visiting from denver. he did the lighting with my brand new reflector kit and our lives were changed forever. the lighting looks SO amazing and we shot in the middle of a verrrry sunny day. thanks matthew. :)
